The Hooked shade from Buster + Punch is a powder-coated steel shade, sold on its own, to be fitted on the pendant lights, chandeliers and wall sconces in the brand's Hooked collection. It measures 14 cm in diameter by 13 cm high in the small model, 21 cm in diameter by 26 cm high in the large model, and is available in graphite or stone.

A powder-coated steel shade, 14 or 21 cm in diameter

This steel shade starts as a sheet 1 mm thick. It is powder-coated, then rolled onto itself. Wide-slot solid metal screws, a Buster + Punch signature, hold it closed.

Two sizes are available. The small model measures 14 cm in diameter and 13 cm high. The large model measures 21 cm in diameter and 26 cm high.

Graphite or stone shade: 2 grays to choose from

The graphite shade is dark gray. The brand adds metal flakes to it, which give the surface a satin sheen when it catches the light.

The stone color can be misleading: the shade is not made of stone. It is a gray shade in steel, covered with a powder-coated paint that Buster + Punch calls Stone. This gray is lighter than the graphite.

Each shade comes with 3 sets of wide-slot screws: brass, smoked bronze and steel. You fit the ones that match the metal of your light fixture. So you do not have to choose a finish when ordering.

Replacement shade for Hooked pendant light, chandelier and wall sconce

Buster + Punch states that its shades fit the entire Hooked collection. This model is therefore a pendant light shade for the Hooked 1.0, for the Hooked 3.0 chandeliers and the 6.0, and for the Hooked wall sconce. It also dresses the Nude versions, sold without a shade.

It is the shade originally supplied with the Hooked 1.0 pendant light and the Hooked wall sconce of the same size and color. It therefore serves as a replacement shade if yours is damaged. It also lets you change color or size without changing the light fixture.

The brand points out 2 limitations: the shade is not compatible with its Heavy Metal pendant light, and it is not suitable for damp environments. It recommends calling on a professional for installation, with the power off. For care, wipe with a dry, lint-free cloth, without chemicals, as with our other light fixture accessories.
