A linear pendant light in solid wood, not veneer

The body of the Skog pendant light is made of solid oak. Its softened edges and solid ends give the bar the look of a piece of joinery rather than a light fixture, with understated finishes and no visible parts.

This linear wooden pendant light is attached by a 52 cm ceiling canopy that spreads the mounting over two points. It visually follows the length of the bar instead of reducing it to a single point on the ceiling. The two transparent cables are easily forgotten: only the oak remains visible above the table.

An LED pendant light of 24 W or 31 W

This LED pendant light houses an integrated light source that is included. According to the manufacturer's data, it delivers 3100 lumens for 24 W in the 120 cm version, and 4100 lumens for 31 W in the 150 cm version. The light falls evenly along the whole length of the bar.

The color rendering index reaches 93 according to the manufacturer: the shades of the wood, tableware and fabrics stay natural under this lighting. The light fixture has an IP20 protection rating. It is intended for dry rooms, away from areas directly exposed to humidity or splashes.

120 cm or 150 cm, warm white 3000 K or neutral white 4000 K

The 120 cm version lights a table for 4 to 6 people, a kitchen island or a corner office desk without excess. The 150 cm version is meant for large tables and shared workspaces, where the light must cover a wider surface. Work out the space above the furniture before choosing: the bar needs full clearance along its entire length.

The warm white 3000 K brings out the honey tones of the oak and suits meals as well as evenings spent in the living room. Neutral white 4000 K gives a more energizing light, suited to an office or a work surface where you read and write for long periods.

A pendant light for dining room, office or living room

Above a table, line up this dining room pendant light with the length of the tabletop: the light then falls evenly as far as the seats at the ends. In an office, install it above the work surface rather than behind the chair, to avoid any cast shadow on documents. In a living room, an oak bar above a coffee table marks off the conversation area.

The hanging height goes up to 210 cm, which leaves room to spare in rooms with high ceilings. Plan on two people for installation: the bar is long and must be held while the two cables are adjusted. The electrical connection must be carried out by a qualified electrician. Check that it is level from both ends of the room; a dry cloth is enough for routine upkeep of the wood.
