A metal bar that barely curves, like a plank flexing under its own weight, this linear pendant light gives a more lively silhouette to the lighting of a table or an island. Designed by Thoro, the Jorun pendant light comes in 120 cm or 150 cm long, in white, black or gold, in 3000 K or 4000 K.

A steel pendant light with an arched line

The profile of the Jorun pendant light is only 3 cm wide. Its discreet curve and rounded ends soften the technical look of the bar and give it an almost sculptural appearance, without giving up the precise lighting you expect above a table.

The LED strip of this steel pendant light is set beneath the profile, behind a diffuser. The light falls evenly toward the surface to be lit, with no light point visible from the room. Thoro offers the same profile as a wall sconce: the two models can echo each other, for example a pendant light above the island and a sconce in the hallway.

An LED pendant light in 120 cm or 150 cm

This LED pendant light comes in 2 lengths, with an integrated source, included. According to the manufacturer's data, the 120 cm version delivers 22 W for about 2900 lumens in 3000 K: it suits a table for 4 to 6 people or a compact island. The 150 cm version goes up to 25 W and a little over 3300 lumens, for a large table or a long countertop.

The color rendering index of 93 guarantees faithful rendering of materials: on a countertop or a set table, colors stay natural. Choose a length shorter than that of the piece of furniture being lit, because a bar that extends beyond it gives an impression of imbalance. The fixture runs on 220-240 V and has an IP20 protection rating, for dry rooms.

Gold, black or white pendant light, in 3000 K or 4000 K

The gold pendant light brings a bright, warm touch: above a light wood table or a marble island, it adds a note of elegance without ostentation. The black version draws a very legible graphic curve and pairs with black faucets or metal chairs. The white version, with its white cable, blends into a light kitchen.

Each color comes in warm white 3000 K for living spaces and neutral white 4000 K for work areas. Keep the same shade of light as the other lighting in the room, especially in a kitchen open to the living room.

A pendant light for a kitchen island, dining table or office

Placed along the long axis of the countertop, this kitchen island pendant light lights the preparation area in one piece, with no cast shadow getting in the way of cooking. Above a dining table, leave about 70 cm between the tabletop and the bar: the curve stays visible without blocking the view between guests. In an office or a meeting room, the 4000 K version provides comfortable working light.

The total height reaches 210 cm and is adjusted during installation. The bar is connected to a small rectangular ceiling canopy of 8 cm fixed to the ceiling. The electrical connection must be carried out by a qualified electrician. Check that the bar is level before locking the pendant light; a soft, dry cloth is then enough for maintaining the profile.
