The circle of the Eskola pendant light is not perfect. Its line deviates slightly, which creates a visible imbalance and gives movement to a form that is otherwise very pure. Depending on where you view it from, the loop never reads quite the same way.

The thin profile of this black steel pendant light lets the eye pass through: even in a large diameter, it hides neither the window nor the back of the room. The matte black absorbs reflections and lets the form speak, so the light fixture keeps the same presence during the day, simply switched off. The collection also includes a ceiling light of the same design, to repeat the loop in a neighboring room.

Three designer pendant light diameters: 70, 110 or 140 cm

The 70 cm model is enough above a round table or a modest living area. The 110 cm model sits above a large table and occupies the space without closing it off.

The 140 cm model is a large designer pendant light intended for generous volumes: a cathedral-ceiling living room, a hall or a restaurant room with a high ceiling. In all three sizes, the hanging height is 150 cm. Think about the free space around the circle, because an asymmetrical form needs a little distance to be read properly from several places in the room.

An E27 bulb at the center of the ring

The Eskola pendant light works with an LED E27 bulb, with a maximum power of 15 W. The light source is placed at the center of the ring: it lights downward and lets the structure be drawn as a shadow on the ceiling and nearby walls. The bulb is not included, which lets you choose the shade and the intensity.

A frosted bulb gives a soft light and limits glare at the center of the circle; a clear bulb draws more pronounced shadows. A warm white around 2700 or 3000 K suits living spaces. With a single bulb, Eskola remains supplementary lighting in large rooms: plan on complementary general lighting if the room is large.

A pendant light for living room, dining room or hall

Above a dining table, this dining room pendant light is centered on the tabletop, at a height where the bottom of the ring stays above the guests' line of sight. In a living room, hung near a free wall, it reads as a sculpture. In a hall or a stairwell, it can be seen from several levels, which highlights its irregular shape. It also finds its place in a restaurant or a hotel with a refined decor.

The electrical connection must be carried out by a qualified electrician. Plan on two people for installing the 110 and 140 cm models. The light fixture runs on 220-240 V and has an IP20 protection rating, for indoor use, in dry rooms. The black cable and the steel structure are cleaned with a soft, dry cloth.
