With its steel plate with wavy edges and its three exposed light tubes, this colorful ceiling light turns very simple lighting into a graphic composition. Designed by Thoro, the Klover ceiling light is 66 cm long, comes in sixteen matte colors and takes three S14d tube bulbs: a cheerful way to light a bedroom, a living room or a hallway.

A metal ceiling light with a wavy plate

The Klover ceiling light rests on a simple idea: a steel plate fixed against the ceiling, whose outlines draw waves. This colored plate serves as a backdrop and sets off the tubes. Seen from the floor, the wavy cutout softens the severity of the three parallel lines and gives the light fixture an almost playful look.

The whole measures 66 cm long by 43 cm wide, and only 5.2 cm thick. This flat ceiling light can therefore be installed without difficulty under a low ceiling, where a pendant light would get in the way. The Klover wall sconce uses the same design with a single tube: the two models can echo each other in the same room, on the ceiling and on the wall.

Three S14d tube bulbs for retro lighting

This 3-light ceiling light takes three tube bulbs with an S14d base, mounted in parallel on the plate. When lit, they form three regular lines of light that recall signs and workshops of the past. Each bulb can reach 7 W in LED, enough to light a medium-sized room properly.

The bulbs are not included, which lets you choose the look. Clear glass shows the LED filament and reinforces the retro spirit; frosted glass gives a more even light with less glare. Choose three identical S14d tube bulbs, because a difference in shade or length is noticed immediately on three aligned tubes. They can be replaced without removing the plate.

A colorful ceiling light in sixteen shades

White, beige and taupe blend in discreetly with a light ceiling: the tubes then remain the most visible element of the light fixture. Black, mocha and brown, on the other hand, accentuate the contrast with the light and give a more assertive industrial look.

Ocher red, burgundy, red, peach, pink and yellow turn the ceiling light into a real splash of color above the room. Sage, olive green, azure blue and ultramarine stay more restrained: they suit a bedroom or an office where you want color without excess. All the shades are matte.

A designer ceiling light for the bedroom, the living room or the hallway

In a bedroom, Klover gives enough light to dress and tidy up, while keeping a decorative look during the day. In a hallway or an entryway, this hallway ceiling light takes advantage of its slim profile to free up the passage. In an office or a workshop, the three tubes provide a frank lighting, in an artist's studio spirit.

The electrical connection must be carried out by a qualified electrician. Before tightening the fixings, align the plate with a wall of the room so that the wavy cutout stays straight. The light fixture operates at 220-240 V and has an IP20 protection rating, for indoor use in dry rooms. A soft, dry cloth is enough to dust the steel and the tubes.
