The 250W multi-way dimmer module by Buster + Punch is a rotary dimmer for push-button circuits, to be mounted on one of the brand's modular wall plates. It dims from 3 to 250 W of dimmable LED bulbs at 220 to 240 V, measures 3.5 cm by 4.4 cm and is sold on its own, without plate or knob.

Dimmer for push-buttons: a wiring type of its own

This module cannot be fitted in place of a conventional switch or two-way switch. This dimmer for push-buttons requires a lighting circuit wired for push-buttons. It is not compatible with standard wiring, nor with one-way switches, two-way switches and intermediate switches.

So have your installation checked by your electrician before buying. If your lighting is controlled by an ordinary two-way switch, choose the brand's 120W LED dimmer module instead.

Multi-way dimmer: adjusting the light from several places

This multi-way dimmer is switched on and off by pressing its knob, and adjusted by turning it. The rotation is accompanied by a slight clicking sound.

The other control points take push-buttons, for example the brand's toggle push switch modules. A short press switches the lighting on or off. A long press raises or lowers the brightness.

This control from several places suits large spaces, such as a living room or a long hallway. Only one dimmer is allowed per lighting circuit.

250W LED dimmer: load, wall plate and knob

This electrical module accepts 3 to 250 W of dimmable LED bulbs, and 10 to 350 W of halogen or incandescent lighting. It runs on 220 to 240 V, at 50 Hz, with a gradual switch-on that can take 1 to 2 seconds. It is not suitable for motors, fans or other large inductive loads.

The package contains 1 dimmer module, without plate or knob. The module, made of polycarbonate, measures 3.5 cm wide by 4.4 cm high. It is completed with a wall plate with inserts from the brand, each opening of which takes 1 dimmer, and with a dimmer finishing kit, which provides the knob, with linear knurling, called Linear, or cross knurling, called Cross.

The assembly is fitted on a European-standard wall box, mounted flush with the wall. The module is not suitable for damp environments. The electrical connection must be carried out by a qualified electrician.
