The blank module by Buster + Punch is a plastic cover that closes off an unused opening on a modular wall plate. It measures 4.5 cm by 4.5 cm, fits the brand's electrical plates and comes in black or white.

A blank module for modular wall plates

This blank module is a solid module, with no socket or control. It takes up an opening in the plate and closes it off.

It is used when a multi-gang plate has more openings than devices to install. The space therefore remains available for a socket or a data module.

This module is designed for Buster + Punch modular electrical plates. It fits plates without inserts as well as plates with inserts, in 1, 2, 3 or 4 gang.

45 mm module: dimensions and fitting

The blank module is 4.5 cm wide by 4.5 cm high. It is a 45 mm module, the format of the sockets and data modules in the range.

Each opening in a Buster + Punch plate takes 1 module of this format. The blank module clips into the plate's support frame, like the other 45 mm modules.

The plate is then fitted onto a European standard wall box, mounted flush with the wall. For hollow walls, the brand offers its Back Box wall box, sold separately. The blank module is intended for indoor use and is not suitable for damp environments.

Black or white blank module: colors and installation

This plastic cover comes in 2 colors, black or white. Black pairs with a black or smoked bronze plate, white with a white plate.

The pack contains 1 blank module. The wall plate is ordered separately, in brass, steel, smoked bronze, black or white.

The blank module itself is not connected to anything. If the plate also holds sockets or switches, the electrical connection must be carried out by a qualified electrician.
