Electrical Module | MODULE (120W LED Dimmer)

The 120W LED dimmer module by Buster + Punch is a two-way rotary dimmer, to be mounted on one of the brand's modular wall plates. It dims from 5 to 120 W of dimmable LED bulbs at 230 V and is sold on its own, without plate or knob.

Rotary LED dimmer: push on/off

This LED dimmer is switched on and off by pressing the knob. You then turn this knob to adjust the brightness. The rotation is smooth and silent.

The switch-on is gradual. It can take 1 to 2 seconds for the lighting to reach full brightness.

This electrical module accepts 5 to 120 W of dimmable LED bulbs, and 60 to 400 W of halogen or incandescent lighting. It connects to the 230 V mains, at 50 Hz. It is not compatible with non-dimmable bulbs, compact fluorescent bulbs, fans and motors.

Two-way dimmer: wiring and compatibility

This two-way dimmer controls the same light from 2 places, for example at the top and bottom of a staircase. It replaces only one of the 2 switches, while the other remains an ordinary two-way switch. It also works as a one-way switch, from a single point.

Only one dimmer module is allowed per circuit. It is not compatible with push-buttons or with the brand's multi-way dimmers. For a push-button circuit, Buster + Punch offers its 250W multi-way dimmer module.

The module is not suitable for damp environments. The electrical connection must be carried out by a qualified electrician.

Wall plate and dimmer kit: what you need to add

The package contains 1 dimmer module (120W) and 1 anti-rotation adapter. The plate and the knob are not included.

To get a complete dimmer, add a wall plate with inserts from the brand, in 1, 2, 3 or 4 gang. Each opening takes 1 dimmer. The plate without inserts is not suitable: it is reserved for sockets and data modules.

You also need a dimmer finishing kit, which provides the solid metal dimmer knob. The module accepts only Buster + Punch knobs, with linear knurling, called Linear, or cross knurling, called Cross. Once assembled, the unit is fitted on a European-standard wall box, mounted flush with the wall.
