An intermediate switch is used when the same lighting is controlled from 3 or more places. For this, the module is combined with the brand's two-way dummy dimmer modules. It is at home in a long hallway, a staircase or a living room with several entrances.

It is operated by pressing the knob, which turns the lighting on or off. It is not compatible with push-button circuits.

Dummy dimmer: the look of a dimmer, without dimming

This electrical module is a dummy dimmer: it looks like a dimmer, but it does not dim the light. It works like a simple switch.

Its appeal is aesthetic. On a wall plate that brings together several controls, it keeps the same appearance throughout, whether the circuit is dimmable or not.

It suits most non-dimmable lighting. The module is rated for 6 A at 230 V, at 50 Hz.

Wall plate, knob and wall box: the assembly

The box contains 1 intermediate dummy dimmer module and 1 anti-rotation adapter. To obtain a complete control, you need to add 2 Buster + Punch items to it.

The first is a wall plate with inserts. The second is the finishing kit for dimmers, which provides the solid metal knob, with linear knurling, called Linear, or cross knurling, called Cross. These kits only fit the brand's modules.

Once mounted on its wall plate, the module is installed on a European-standard wall box, fitted flush with the wall. For hollow walls, the brand offers its Back Box wall box, sold separately. It is intended for indoor use, on domestic lighting circuits, and is not suitable for damp environments. The electrical connection must be carried out by a qualified electrician.
